Working with the executive team, the Director of Operations plays a critical role, contributing both to the day to day management of operations and the strategic development of Culinary Capers Catering and Special Events. The Director of Operations provides leadership and direction to multiple operational departments while overseeing and developing the company’s ability to deliver on its brand promises.

The Director of Operations places heavy emphasis on the implementation of industry-leading quality assurance and management frameworks across Culinary Capers to ensure that priorities are clear, coordination is productive, and objectives are met.

Event Planner Assistant (Bilingual: English & Mandarin)

Culinary Capers Catering has been in business since 1986 and is the acknowledged market leader in off-premise catering in Vancouver. Our signature event style and delicious, cutting edge cuisine have won awards and earned us an international reputation.

The Event Planner Assistant is responsible for supporting the Event Planners in all aspect of the event planning process, from client intake to billing. The Event Planner Assistant assists the Event Planners through alleviating Event Planners’ logistical and administrative tasks, allowing Event Planners to focus on sales and relationship management.

The Event Planner Assistant is point of contact with clients during the absence of Event Planners and works hand in hand with internal departments and external vendors. Coordinating the organization and execution of the events team, the Event Planner Assistant contributes to the delivery of the Culinary Capers brand promise of a fun and memorable experience for guests, through exquisite food and exceptional service.

Cook 1

Culinary Capers Catering has been in business since 1986 and is the acknowledged market leader in off-premise catering in Vancouver. Our signature event style and delicious, cutting edge cuisine have won awards and earned us an international reputation.

The Cook 1 is responsible to manage a section within the kitchen with the assistance of other kitchen staff, under the supervision of the Chef De Partie. They ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to company standards. By ensuring standardization of recipes and plate presentation for a la carte venues and catered events, the Cook 1 delivers a memorable dining experience for guests.
