Event Planner Assistant (Bilingual: English & Mandarin)

The Event Planner Assistant is responsible for supporting the Event Planners in all aspect of the event planning process, from client intake to billing. The Event Planner Assistant assists the Event Planners through alleviating Event Planners’ logistical and administrative tasks, allowing Event Planners to focus on sales and relationship management.

The Event Planner Assistant is point of contact with clients during the absence of Event Planners and works hand in hand with internal departments and external vendors. Coordinating the organization and execution of the events team, the Event Planner Assistant contributes to the delivery of the Culinary Capers brand promise of a fun and memorable experience for guests, through exquisite food and exceptional service.

Stewarding and Facilities Supervisor

The Stewarding and Facilities Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the cleaning and building maintenance activities of both headquarter and special event space, Waterview. The Stewarding and Facilities Supervisor assumes complete responsibility for the success of the dish department as necessary and ensures the team is highly engaged, to deliver on the Culinary Caper brand promise of a fun and memorable experience for guests, through exquisite food and exceptional service.

The Stewarding and Facilities Supervisor is the direct line of communication to Operations Manager and ensures operational targets are consistently communicated across the cleaning team. The Stewarding and Facilities Supervisor also ensures teams have the resources, systems, support, and knowledge to achieve the goals and targets. Maintains all stewarding and building maintenance functions, the Stewarding and Facilities Supervisor ensures that the company standards are followed by the dish team and the upkeep of the building is maintained.

You have:

• 2+ years of management experience with building maintenance and/or hotel steward experience preferred
• Degree or diploma in building maintenance or hotel management is an asset
• Proven business acumen leadership skill with excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Foodsafe and WHIMIS certification is an asset

Cook 1

The Cook 1 is responsible to manage a section within the kitchen with the assistance of other kitchen staff, under the supervision of the Chef De Partie. They ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to company standards. By ensuring standardization of recipes and plate presentation for a la carte venues and catered events, the Cook 1 delivers a memorable dining experience for guests.
