Culinary Capers Catering Venue Spotlight | Science World’s Green Roof Terrace

Any Vancouverite can recognize the iconic geodesic dome that originally housed the Expo Centre back in 1986. Now, after more than $35 million worth of renovations, the building is as vibrant as ever. Alongside many gallery expansions and face-lifts, Science World at TELUS World of Science now has a new green roof.

From June through October Science World installs a 2,250 sq.ft. tent on their roof where you can hold a variety of events (170 seated and 200 stand-up)  from corporate receptions and barbecues to weddings. Perfectly situated at the end of False Creek, the rooftop patio offers a panoramic vista of the Olympic Village and the downtown Vancouver skyline.  It is also home to an assortment of green space – flowers, shrubs and trees, that add that touch of nature to complement the breathtaking view.
