Vancouver, BC (February 26, 2013) – Debra Lykkemark, CEO of Culinary Capers Catering and Special Events is the first caterer in British Columbia to obtain the new liquor license for off-premise caterers.
”This new class of license is a big step forward for our province. Now off-premise caterers with a license can purchase, transport and serve the liquor at events, meetings and weddings. Prior to this new license, clients that required a liquor license had to apply for a SOL (Special Occasion License), purchase and transport the liquor to and from their function.” said Debra Lykkemark. “I would like to thank my fellow caterers, event and hospitality industry associates and Tourism Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria for working together to get this issue brought to the attention of the BC government.”
