Sweetest Desserts Trends for Summer

Our pastry chef Kim Collishaw is the mastermind behind all our signature pastries, sweets and cakes.  She and her team wields some serious flour power, striving to create inspired desserts that complement Culinary Capers distinctive cuisine.

Here are some of Kim’s favourite pics for summer dessert ideas for your next party.

Petite desserts – small bites are still going strong!  Dessert ‘shots’, cheesecake and cake pops – miniature versions of everything from pies to cakes.  Definitely a wow factor for a dessert display and an easy to eat, two-bite decadence.
Local summer fruits and berries – some light and refreshing combinations include a strawberry vanilla bean panna cotta topped with basil and balsamic strawberries and shots of sparkling wine gelee, summer fruit and sweet cream.

Whoopie pies and macarons – part of the petite dessert array of addictive goodness and so many flavours to choose from!

Chocolate never goes out of style and our pastry team uses only the finest Belgium chocolate.
