Venue Spotlight – Capilano Suspension Bridge Canyon Lookout

One of Vancouver’s oldest and most popular visitor attractions, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park attracts visitors from around the globe.  Standing in the West Coast Rainforest below majestic, 400 year old Douglas Fir trees your guests will be amazed that they are only 10 minutes away from downtown Vancouver.  Along with the spectacular natural beauty of the Canyon Lookout venue, event guests can explore the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, including the swaying Bridge, the 7 bridges of Treetops Adventure, the awarding winning Cliffwalk, and over 27 acres of park.  Not only will guests be immersed in Vancouver’s history and local First Nation culture, but they will have the thrill of exploring the park and West Coast Rainforest.

The Canyon Lookout is a uniquely West Coast event venue with spectacular views of the coastal mountains and rushing Capilano River.  Nowhere else can you sit amongst towering trees, with the comfort of a tented venue, while enjoying delicious catered cuisine by Culinary Capers Catering.  The venue features a cantilevered deck that can hold 140 for a seated dinner and 150 for cocktail reception.   The Canyon Lookout venue creates an environment for an unforgettable experience.

Below are a few photos from a recent event Culinary Capers Catering catered on the Canyon Lookout deck .  Our Chef created a custom seasonal menu perfect for a casual corporate outdoor dinner.
